Greenbrier Cottage

My earthly home
On August 3, 2009 we moved from Bramble Creek Farm to Greenbrier Cottage. San and I bought this house when Lynnea was three and Justin was just barely crawling. Returning to this humble abode was a step of faith for me. Through this blog, I hope to preserve the journey this step of faith takes me.
Bramble Creek Farm had been in my family since 1964 when my parents purchased this 11+ acres from George and Ada Kirby. San and I moved there in October 2000 when we bought it from my parents. This had been my earthly residence for over 22 years of my life, first as a child and youth and then again as a middle aged woman. I endeavored to capture some of the beauty and charm as well as the thorns and pain of this earthy home before we passed it on to others.

Hey, Mama! that's a silly llama!
ReplyDeleteWhen a llama comes running at you with that nose, it can give you a strange feeling. They go right for the face, actually, right for the nose. They want to sniff you out. No wonder cougars are scared away by these bold and curious creatures.
